Privacy Policy

FotoLedger supports two workflows:
- Local mode (no account): your project data stays in your browser session and local browser storage.
- Cloud mode (logged in): your project snapshots and profile presets are saved to our backend so you can load, rename, and delete projects across sessions.
In cloud mode, we use Supabase for authentication, database records, and private file storage. Access to cloud projects is restricted per account using backend access policies.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as email address, when you create an account or sign in.
- Cloud project content you choose to save, including report data and project assets contained in saved snapshots.
- Profile settings you save (for example: name, company name/logo, label presets, and color presets).
- Usage analytics, such as pages visited, buttons clicked, and approximate location derived from IP address, collected through Google Analytics when you use the website or app.
How We Use Information
- To provide authentication and secure access to your account.
- To save, load, sync, rename, and delete your cloud projects at your request.
- To store your optional profile presets for reuse in future reports.
- To understand how the site and app are used so we can improve FotoLedger.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local-mode data remains in your browser until you clear it. Cloud projects and profile data remain in your account until you delete them or your account is removed.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app and only for service delivery. That currently includes Supabase (accounts, cloud projects, and file storage) and Google Analytics (site and app usage). Google may process analytics data on servers outside your country; see Google's privacy policy for details.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards and provider security controls to protect stored cloud data. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of FotoLedger after updates means you accept the revised policy.
